Hello there! Name and age, please
Maureen Marijuaney, 53

Occupation
Housewife and part-time bakery worker. My speciality is cheese & bacon turnovers.

Describe your perfect day
Get home from the school run in time for Kilroy - he's dishy. Take valium. Watch re-runs of 'Bergerac' in the afternoon, and then make Roy his tea. His favourite is chicken cordon bleu, and maybe some peas. Bingo and gin in the evening with my mother. Funnily enough, Roy never wants to come with me.

Favourite English holiday destination (and why)
Dungeness beach in Kent. The nuclear power station visitor centre and nature reserve are splendid.

Favourite ROY song
'The Seaside Days.' On Mother's Day I got to sing it with the band at the local old people's home.

Favourite meat & vegetable combination
Chicken and mushroom.

Which household item could you not live without?
Crocheted toliet roll cover.

Are you a member of any local bodies?
Yes, I'm treasurer of LOG, the Local Otter Group. We exterminate otters. We really take them out ruthlessly. There is no mercy. Otters are scum.

What would you do to promote world peace?
Make a nice shepherd's pie.
